The ideal time to capture your newborn is within the first two weeks of life. During this beautiful window, babies are typically sleepier and naturally curl into those soft, womb-like poses. It’s also the perfect time to preserve their freshness and all those tiny, delicate details- creating timeless images you’ll treasure forever.

It’s best to book your newborn session anytime from your 12-week scan. I only take a limited number of bookings each month to allow flexibility around when your baby decides to arrive, so securing your space early helps avoid disappointment.

Your session takes place in my home studio, based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. It’s a calm, relaxed space designed to help you and your baby feel completely comfortable from the moment you arrive.

Simply reserve your session using your due date. Once your baby arrives, just let me know and we’ll arrange your session within those first two weeks. Everything is designed to be calm, flexible, and effortless for you.

Newborn sessions typically last around 2 hours, though I kindly ask you to allow up to 3 hours. This ensures plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and settling your baby.

You won’t need to bring anything at all. I have a beautiful selection of blankets, wraps, and outfits ready for you to use during your session. There is also a small collection of dresses available for mums to choose from, should you wish.

You’ll receive a preview within 1 week of your session. Once chosen, your final, retouched images will then be delivered within 3 weeks, ready for you to enjoy and treasure.

We always work at your baby’s pace. There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, and comforting throughout the session, so nothing is ever rushed. Settling babies is all part of what I do, and I’ll gently guide the session so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience, knowing you’ll leave with beautiful, timeless newborn images.
